Violet Cottage is consistently praised for its cosy and comfortable atmosphere, with a large garden that is especially appreciated by dog owners. Its proximity to the beach, local pubs, and shops, as well as the Broads and North East Norfolk, makes it a well-located base for exploring the area. Guests have enjoyed the warm living spaces, comfortable beds, and the added charm of an open fire.
Guests generally found the cottage clean, with only a few suggesting it could benefit from some extra attention to detail. The overall impression is of a well-maintained property.
The location is highly praised for its convenience to local amenities, the beach, and attractions in the Broads. The nearby pub and shop add to the appeal, making it an ideal spot for a holiday stay.
The cottage is frequently described as cosy and warm, with comfortable beds and a living room that guests find very relaxing. The large garden adds to the comfort by providing space for pets and outdoor activities.
Facilities are generally good, with a well-equipped kitchen and comfortable furnishings. However, some guests noted the kitchen and bathroom could use updating, and there were minor issues with figuring out the lighting and heating up the shower.
Guests appreciated thoughtful touches like a welcome bottle of wine, biscuits, and flowers. While these gestures are warmly received, it should be noted that such gifts are offered at the owner's discretion and may not be a consistent feature for all stays.
