Set within the owner’s land in the sought-after village of Ingoldsthorpe, Bramble Cottage is a detached barn conversion and makes the perfect base from which to explore this lovely part of Norfolk. Boasting open plan living and just 1 mile from the coast, you are sure to fall in love with this pretty little retreat.
There are so many celebrated attractions close by that whether you are a beach lover, a history buff or a wildlife enthusiast you will be sure to find much to see and do. Head to nearby Snettisham Beach, which is one of the quietest in the area or perhaps head to Heacham Beach with its painted beach huts. Just a little further along the coast is the seaside town of Hunstanton with its beach that seems to go on for miles when the tide is out and its famous stripy cliffs. Known as ‘Sunny Hunny’ by the locals, this popular seaside town is also packed with coastal attractions.
Drive east from here and discover a string of pretty coastal villages with a wide range of coastal habitats including picturesque quays and salt marshes. History buffs will find the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn, the Sandringham and Holkham Estates and Peckover House all within easy reach. Just a little further and you can explore the medieval city of Norwich, Blickling Hall and Ely with its magnificent cathedral too.
Bird lovers will find lots of bird watching opportunities in abundance in Norfolk, and not to be missed are rspb Snettisham Marshes, which is just up the road, or Welney Wetlands which also lie within easy reach. Once you have squeezed all that in, you are sure to have worked up an appetite, so you will be pleased to find that this area is packed with great places to eat in whatever your budget or taste buds. This was the worst cottage we have ever stayed in as you drive into the gate on the persons drive it looks like a building site .The garden of the cottage was in bad need of weeding and the garden furiture was really dirty .When we opened the fr9nt door the smell was bad the rug smellt and one of the seatees smelled really bad too we bought throws for it .The microwave was rusty and all the front was off the plastic .The actual flooring as you open the front door was dirty and it was the same in the kitchen part too .They have decorated the walls in the lounge diner and left the radiator it was all rusty along the top .The bedding had a bad smell too we had to buy new pillow cases before we could lay on the pillows .We stayed out most of the days because we did not want to sit in the cottage too long .The wifi did not work properly either all in all it was very stressful .

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage. It was beautifully laid out, easy to find and we were very comfortable. Thank you to Laura and Barney for the little welcome treats for us. The weather was very kind and we managed to eat outside and make use of the courtyard garden, a veritable suntrap. The garden is lovely and secure, as someone with a small dog who can squeeze under a gate, I appreciated the gate went right to the ground. Great location for getting to the seaside, can recommend Heacham and Old Hunstanton for dog walks. We will book again.

great place to explore the area,very close to hunstanton and sandingham.just two issues wfi was not very good when watching the tv and the rubbish bins was full.
