Staithe View offers a cosy sitting room to the front, with a wood burning stove and comfy sofas to relax and recount the day's adventures on the coast. The open-plan kitchen / diner is perfect for sociable food preparation and comfortable dining inside the cottage and the garden room offers a bright and warm spot to find some down time with a book or a magazine with the french doors open to the rear courtyard. With table and chairs in the garden room you can enjoy a morning coffee if it's too chilly to sit outside. There is even a handy downstairs WC by the hallway. Upstairs are two generous double bedrooms. The master en-suite bedroom to the front of the house has a king-size bed and bedroom two offers a double bed with a king-size duvet and boasts the most lovely view through the trees to the salt marsh beyond. You even have a bird's eye view of the famous houseboat that is daily left high and dry on the marsh with the receding tide. There's a bathroom adjacent with a bath with a shower over to soak those tired muscles after long walks along the coast path.
Outside, Staithe Cottage has two garden areas. There is a lovely enclosed, lawned garden to the front of the cottage with a patio area immediately outside the front door with a table and chairs so you can relax in the sunshine and enjoy the garden. To the rear is a lovely enclosed courtyard garden with pretty planted borders. Accessed from the parking area and leading into the rear of the cottage, there is a table and chairs here too - perfect for an alfresco glass of something delicious whilst supper is being prepared, or listening to the evocative sounds of the waders and geese on the marshes next door. Staithe View has dedicated parking spaces in the large parking area outside the cottage. Step beyond your boundary and you have the entire North Norfolk coast path, beaches, pubs, country estates, bijou shops and nature reserves right on your doorstep. We have stayed in a great number of cottages and this is certainly one of the best, absolutely gorgeous. Everything you could possibly need. We shall definitely book again. Managed to get out and about between the rain - saw about 7 barn owls - special!

Had a fabulous stay here at Staithe View. Everything you need right on your doorstep - shops, pubs and beautiful walks. It was really cold with snow but the cottage was always warm and cosy with all the comforts you require for a perfect holiday. Love Titchwell RSPB and the beach there, plus of course miles of other beaches to choose from - Holkham, Holme-next-the-Sea and great Parkruns too, even in the snow! Hope to be back to enjoy the conservatory and garden in spring!
