The cottage is located in a small, modern mews development well away from main roads and traffic, therefore is quiet and peaceful. The owner of the cottage lives close by and was great with communications before our arrival date and was there to meet us when we did arrive. He was the best sort of host you could wish for in that he was helpful and informative but then left us alone to enjoy the comforts of Champagne Jennie, but there if we needed assistance - which we didn't because there is simply everything in the cottage that you could possibly need! Every small detail has been carefully thought out and the extent of the food and drink left for the use of the guests was incredible: from a well-stocked fridge to wonderful nibbles and snacks and all quality produce - it made staying there so easy.The living area was comfortable and the bedroom light and sunny, with a super kingsize bed. The bathroom was huge and equipped with both a bath tub and walk-in shower.The kitchen was pristine and well laid out and equipped: there was nothing missing - quite the reverse as there was everything you need, and then some.We would thoroughly recommend Champagne Jennie and would certainly return for another holiday. It is one of the best small holiday cottages we have stayed in and we enjoyed every minute of it.

We have used several cottages from Cottages.com and all have been good. Champagne Jenny is very much the most well designed and stylish. Great care and creativity was used in the styling of the cottage and particularly the bathroom. The kitchen has an induction hob and all the pots and dishes you need as well as supplies for the dishwasher and washing machine. There is also a library of interesting books not just story books. We also loved the super comfortable six foot king size bed. And underfloor heating throughout. Guy, the host was very helpful and nearby in case we had any problems. We tried to think of suggestions as to how Champagne Jenny could be improved but couldn't think of anything. It's just perfect.
