Many original features have been retained and as the owner’s son is a professional pianist there is also a new perfectly tuned piano for the more musical guests to play! This room is dominated by the wonderful inglenook fireplace housing a big woodburner. There is a comfortable leather sofa and two chairs. A new upright piano is another lovely feature of the room available for guests to play. There is a good selection of books and games. TV with video, CD player. Many original artworks.
Kitchen:
Galley style kitchen, well equipped. Dishwasher, gas cooker and microwave oven. There is an ornamental bread oven in the wall. To the end there is a table and two church pews for dining. Utility Room with washing machine. Tumble dryer, fridge, iron and ironing board.
Bedroom 1:
4 foot wide single bed (a foot bigger than standard!).
First Floor:
Bedroom 2:
King sized bed with bedside tables and lamps, fitted wardrobe, beamed ceiling.
Bedroom 3:
Single bed with pull out full sized truckle bed underneath making a double if required.
Family Bathroom:
Newly fitted with bath, separate shower cubicle, basin and WC.
Outside:
To the front is a communal green area, very pretty and overlooking the church. The porch area of the house is covered in roses and creepers and looks extremely picturesque in the summer months. To the rear is a fully enclosed garden with paved patio area, there is a charming covered area close to the cottage, built with oak and with a roof providing shade and protection from the rain in the garden and garden furniture. (Please note there is a right of way to the next doors cottage) Additional outside toilet.
