Nestled within the Little Massingham Wilderness estate and just a 20-minute walk from the charming village of Great Massingham, Copper Beech House offers an exceptional countryside retreat for larger groups seeking space, comfort and a memorable Norfolk getaway. Combining the characterful Punch Lodge with neighbouring Pheasant Cottage, this unique property provides the perfect setting for family gatherings, celebrations, reunions, and special occasions, all surrounded by the peace and beauty of the rural landscape.
At the heart of Copper Beech House is Punch Lodge, a beautifully refurbished former shooting lodge that seamlessly blends contemporary comfort with timeless country-house charm. The lodge features four boutique-style bedrooms, all thoughtfully presented with crisp white linens and stylish furnishings, along with modern en suite bathrooms that offer guests comfort, privacy and convenience throughout their stay.
The lodge's impressive living spaces are designed with entertaining in mind. The striking dining room is a particular highlight, offering a grand setting for shared meals and celebrations. Rich in character and accented with fascinating curios that reflect the property's heritage, it comfortably seats up to ten guests and provides the perfect backdrop for long dinners, special occasions and relaxed evenings spent together. A welcoming sitting room encourages guests to unwind, while the modern kitchen is well-equipped for preparing everything from hearty breakfasts to celebratory feasts.
Pheasant Cottage complements the lodge perfectly, providing three more en suite bedrooms, living room and kitchen. Together, the two properties are comprised of seven en suite bedrooms, all of which have been curated to give guests a quiet and restful stay.
Outside, guests can fully embrace the tranquillity of estate living. Set amidst beautiful natural surroundings, Copper Beech House offers plenty of opportunities to relax and reconnect with nature. Beside Punch Lodge lies a large pond that forms an attractive feature within the grounds, while a discreetly positioned private hot tub provides the ideal place to unwind after a day exploring Norfolk's picturesque villages, countryside walks and nearby coastline. Two wood-fired hot tubs have been provided, one at Pheasant Cottage and another at Punch Lodge. A starter of logs will be provided, and more can be purchased from the estate.
