25 Aug - 1st SeptExcellent stay in Maylie cottageComfy beds sofas kitchen well equipped and beautifully clean lovely open aspect bedrooms wonderfully furnished with beautiful finishing touches throws bedroom chair although missed a dressing table and stool to dry hair makeup etc the log fire was a treat for those slight chills in the evening as we stayed the back end of Aug would definitely stay here again. The solid shutters were definitely in keeping with the theme of the property although being right on the road side people did tend to look in and as the shutters are not the plantation variety with the option of adjusting for privacy whilst letting in the daylight with this in mind maybe a voil roller blind would add some privacy during the dayCouple of recommendations:Suction soap holder for the immaculate and powerful walk in shower.Coat hanger for above the bench thats provided for shoes in the kitchenAs mentioned above the dressing table and stool in the master bedroom would be an added bonusAs mentioned voil blinds for privacy

We had a lovely weekend at Maylie cottage. We found we could have done with some hooks in the bathroom for towels and maybe on the bedroom door for a dressing gown and also by the front door for coats. But, all in all a great cottage.
