For those in the know, the 13th century ruins of Creake Abbey are a familiar destination, well known for its many unique, independent shops and wild walking routes. Against this backdrop, The Carrot House provides a fabulous opportunity to set down roots and explore this historically interesting location, whilst enjoying a wonderfully comfortable stay.
With all rooms being on the ground floor, the adaptable, convenient nature of The Carrot House really comes to the fore. The main living area is a generous space that includes a sitting area, kitchen and dining table, all of which can be opened up to the garden, by way of the ceiling to floor bi-fold doors. This area is more than capable of accommodating large groups and is a great setting for a celebratory meal or gathering.
Four bedrooms are well served by four bathrooms, each with their own aesthetic, but all having been appointed with fine white linens. Two of the super-king beds can be made into twins, upon prior request.
Outside, the spacious nature of The Carrot House continues, with dining patio that is set up for ten people. For those looking to barbecue, there is a charcoal Weber nearby. For others looking to enjoy finer dining, the kitchen is only steps away. Beyond the patio, there is a sizeable area of lawn that has been enclosed, separating it from the surrounding pasture. When exploring the wider Creake Abbey area, it is asked that dogs remain on leads. To the front of the property, there is ample space for six cars on the gravel parking area. Venturing out of the garden, within a two minute walk, you have wonderful Creake Abbey shopping area and cafe to explore, with the Abbey ruins beyond.
