Pretty as a picture, this charming annexe cottage is the ultimate idyllic hideaway for two. Tucked away on a quiet lane in a pretty village that sits on the edge of the Sandringham Estate, you are within easy reach of the coast and the many gems to be found in North West Norfolk. And, with two great pubs just a short stroll away, how perfect is that?
Molly's Den is a true delight - a relaxing and peaceful escape away from the stresses and strains of daily life. Although it's the perfect hideout for two, it's just as welcoming for a solo traveller looking for some quiet time out. On arrival, the clematis clad exterior and pretty blue windows set the scene. The light and airy country-style accommodation is laid out over two floors, with an open-plan living area and kitchen on the ground floor, along with a shower room. A cast iron spiral staircase leads up to the romantic bedroom above where you will find a luxurious super-king size bed dressed in Egyptian cotton linen. The bed can be split into full-size twin single beds if preferred (please request desired option on booking). The bedroom is flooded with light from windows to two sides and a Velux window above. Half open the shutters on the large arched window and enjoy being woken by a gentle filtered light. Outside the cottage, there is a courtyard garden with table and chairs, inviting you outdoors on sunny days to take a seat and enjoy a drink or bite to eat, while listening to the birds sing.
Calling out to walkers, birders, cyclists, golfers, beach and country house lovers and, of course, those of a romantic disposition - it's all here for you to enjoy! If you would appreciate some on-hand local knowledge and advice on where to go and what to do to make the most of your holiday, the lovely owner of Molly's Den lives next door and will be very happy to help you plan your stay, be it a short or longer one.

The location is excellent for King's Lynn and the areas beyond to Wisbech and Downham Market as well as to the North Norfolk coast, situated as it sits near a major road. The cottage itself is beautifully appointed – we found the bedroom in particular to be very cosy. The hosts were nearby (in the adjacent property) and ready to answer any questions, but were also careful to give us our privacy. I would recommend Molly's Den to anyone and stay there again myself.

Really enjoyed our stay here in your lovely cottage. Very comfortable and a good base from which to explore the area. North Norfolk is one of our favourite places in the UK and have been coming for a break each year for years (when allowed). Completed favourite walks and one or two new ones. Enjoyed circular walk in Great Massingham/Little Massingham finishing with late lunch at The Dabbling Duck.

We've really enjoyed our stay at the Den! It definitely removes som of the anxiety of EV ownership having a charger where you're staying! We've also been very comfortable in a well thought through and well maintained home from home. We've had nice local walks and called in at The Three Horseshoes for refreshments. We've cycled up to the beach at Snettisham and pedalled around some of the lanes surrounding Sandringham. Beautiful. We would thoroughly recommend The Dabbling Duck for a delicious meal. The Follkes is very different - but tasty for a quick snack if eating from the street food menu (reasonably priced). Also, good base from which to day-trip to Holkham Hall and Bay. All-in-all a lovely short stay - would love to have a return visit sometime.
