You can head to Heacham and explore the sand dunes or a little further to Hunstanton where you will find a host of seaside attractions including a Sea Life Centre and seasonal boat trips out to see the seals. History buffs should make time to explore the Hanseatic Quarter of Old Kings Lynn and the Sandringham, Holkham and Houghton Estates. And, having worked up an appetite you will find lots of great places to eat too, many of which serve local produce. And with lots of year-round dog friendly beach walks and cafes and inns that allow you to bring your fur-friends along too, this is a great location for dog lovers. Warm, spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great kitchen appliances. Good location, very quiet in December except for fabulous skeins of noisy geese flying over! Loved the outdoor space too. No starter pack as advertised, not even a teabag. A few minor things that seem not to be kept on top of, but certainly nothing to stop us booking again, we loved it. Thank you.

Sands Cottage is warm and comfortable. The cooking equipment is good. We liked the heated shower room floor. The location is quiet and the walk to the beach takes about 15 minutes. The nearby RSPB Snettisham reserve and the mud flats of the Wash have superb views of hundreds of birds. The local shops were shut in early December.

It is a beautiful cottage, the kitchen is high spec and it is located well for the beach. What let it down was there was no toaster, no simple instructions for using the expensive coffee machine and a few items that were mising. We asked for the toaster, washing up liquid, scourer, kitchen roll , and fire logs which came the next day well kindling but better than nothing. If the place was equipped as advertised we would have given it 5 out of 5 stars. So a good place for a holiday
