The barn is a great building, but the hot water system in our opinion needs updateing , we struggled to get hot water to wash our hands, or for instance, for my partner to shave.I was looking forward to a bath ,but i couldnt get the water hot.Electric shower but was ok but no power. We understand it’s an old building but water system is old too., my partner is a plumber ,so he understands. Also, parking at front of house, we have a small ford ranger truck, its older so smaller, but still parking at front of house was tricky ,due to the peer ,of the wall ,that simply doesnt need to be there.Nobody would want to hit the corner of the house. We wanted to park at front of house because of loading the truck. The garden is not enclosed, i understand our 2 dogs are our responsibility, butany dog can go walk about !Wouldnt it be not too difficult to fence the drive , remove the peer, and put a gate, in an appropriate position ,where you would park and get to the house. This is what made the visit stressful, it could easily be avoided. The peer is made of modern brick,so i cant see removing it would be too difficult.I hope this feedback is viewed as consturctive .

This is the third time I have stayed at The Barn with varying family groups. You do need a car but all North Norfolk beaches are a reasonable distance. Comfortable accommodation with options for eating outside. I intend to come back again.
