Located in the coastal village of Thornham, Eaton Cottage is a well-loved family cottage originally built in the 17th century as a bakery, and still features the old baking oven in the sitting room.
Offering a good base for exploring Norfolk the cottage has the benefit of a downstairs bedroom and shower room, along with family bathroom and further bedrooms upstairs. The quirky sunny triple aspect living room has french doors which lead out onto the patio area. The large south-facing garden laid to lawn and bordered by mature shrubs is the perfect place for the children to play and explore. Look out for the local wildlife that frequently pays a visit, including deer and a rich variety of bird life. Enjoy a barbecue by the patio area while relaxing in the sunshine. Parking is available for several cars on the gravelled drive next to the cottage.
Perfectly positioned in the centre of the popular village of Thornham, within easy walking distance of both The Chequers Inn and The Orange Tree gastro pub, Eaton cottage is just a short drive away from the popular Thornham Deli and delicatessen and café, Drove Orchards where you will find Eric’s award-winning Fish and Chips, serving fabulous food and a farm shop where you can buy local produce. You will not be short of places to eat!
