Full of character and beamed throughout, it is easy to leave the bustling world behind and relax in this tranquil holiday home. Erpingham is a charming, rural village tucked away in north Norfolk, just a few miles from the coast and its sandy beaches. It has a pub; The Spread Eagle and a good farmers market can be found at nearby Aylsham twice a week. This lovely Georgian town also hosts two good supermarkets, a bakery and a butcher. Aylsham is also the starting point of the Bure Valley Railway, which is a small gauge steam railway that runs into the heart of The Broads National Park at Wroxham, where you can explore over 125 miles of waterways via guided tours, by hiring a boat or walking the nature trails.

Perfect base for a cycle touring holiday. Quiet, safe lanes in every direction. The cottage was a delight, in a pretty lane. Every thing one needed for self catering, dining and sitting in an open plan room. Spacious yet cosy! Comfortable and homely, we would definitely recommend.
