Dating back to 1848, Keepers Cottage is a former Victorian gamekeepers cottage situated in the hamlet of West Barsham. Tastefully renovated throughout and retaining many original and characterful features, including a stunning beamed 27ft lounge with snooker table, this hideaway is surrounded by open countryside with an abundance of wildlife, and wonderful country walks that can be enjoyed directly from the cottage. The coastal resort of Wells-next-the-sea is just seven miles away.
Boasting four bedrooms (master en suite, double and two twin rooms) and a spacious family bathroom, this home from home offers an abundance of space. The ground floor comprises of a large well-equipped, open plan kitchen with an adjoining dining area where a generous farmhouse table provides ample seating for everyone. With original beams, the stunning lounge features patio doors that open out to the patio with garden furniture - a lovely spot for a morning coffee or evening meal. We have revisited Keepers Cottage 4 times now. It is perfect for our family holiday. It is very well equipped and the garden is secure for the children. Not too far from Wells beach. Would certainly recommend.
