Boasting a comfortable, open-plan living space with a wood burner and well-equipped kitchen, each barn has its own enclosed, walled, lawned garden with seating. There is a function hall on-site (with conference and catering facilities for up to 250 guests) which may be available for use by prior arrangement with the owner.
Neighbouring the owner’s farm, Piggyback Barns are situated in the peaceful village of Sculthorpe, just 8 miles from the Norfolk coastline with its wealth of sandy beaches, and rspb bird and nature reserves. Excellent walking and cycling can be enjoyed from the doorstep and fishing is nearby.
Fakenham, 2 miles away, offers good shops, restaurants, inns, a bowling alley, a cinema and a golf course. Bustling Burnham Market with village shops, inns and restaurants, is 7 miles away. Wells-next-the-Sea, 8 miles, offers an excellent sandy beach with colourful beach huts, a small shopping town centre with many inns and restaurants, and a picturesque fishing harbour - popular for fresh shellfish. Further along the coast is Brancaster an uncrowded sandy beach and golf course. Brancaster Staithe provides a popular venue for sailing and boating enthusiasts.
The traditional seaside towns of Heacham and Hunstanton offer an array of activities for all ages. Many places of historical interest and stately homes are within the surrounding area. 20 minutes drive away is the historical town of Kings Lynn for shopping, market place, restaurants, inns and theatre, and also Norwich city for excellent shopping, castle museum, cathedral, theatre, market place, restaurants and inns. Beach 8 miles. Shop 1 mile, pub and restaurant ½ mile.

Absolutely stunning location, large beautiful cottage, plenty of room, well-equipped.Toaster and coffee machine not working but replaced when we got round to informing the owners. Baby cots could do with having mattresses included. Otherwise really good property

We spent the weekend at Kestrel barn celebrating a family 40th birthday . There were 10 of us , 8 adults, 2 children, and we had a brilliant weekend. The barn is extremely well equipped both in living space and kitchen. The kitchen range was big enough to use 6 frying pans for a cooked breakfast and the 2 ovens plus grill and warming drawer was perfect when cooking a Sunday roast plus trimmings for all of us. The table would seat 14 comfortably!! The bedrooms upstairs are extremely spacious ; downstairs are smaller but adequate. A real bonus that each room is en-suite. A lovely garden with large table and chairs. It is a super base for reaching the many attractions of North Norfolk. A great weekend for our family, ranging in age from 7-70!

The barn is well positioned for coast and other activities ! Extremely well equipped kitchen , comfy beds and adequate bathrooms . The layout for a family group is ideal with downstairs bedrooms and also upper bedrooms to suit your group . The enclosed garden is safe for children and an on site games room was a real bonus .
