The Coach House in Fakenham is a well-received holiday rental, praised for its comfort, spaciousness, and suitability for dog owners. Guests appreciate the property's proximity to local attractions, beaches, and walks, as well as the convenience of a nearby shop and fish and chip shop. The enclosed garden and off-road parking are notable features. While some guests mention the need for minor maintenance and more light, the overall sentiment is positive, with many expressing a desire to return.
Most guests found The Coach House to be clean and well-presented, with several reviews highlighting its spotlessness. However, a few guests noted areas that could benefit from additional attention, such as dust on furniture and part-used milk left in the fridge. These minor points slightly affect the overall high cleanliness rating.
The location is generally well-regarded for its proximity to beaches, local attractions, and dog walking areas. The village amenities, including a shop and fish and chip shop, add to the convenience. Some guests noted the distance to the coast and the presence of a malting factory as minor drawbacks.
Guests consistently praise the comfort of The Coach House, mentioning comfortable beds, a cosy atmosphere, and spacious living areas. The property is described as warm and welcoming, ideal for both families and dogs, contributing to a high comfort rating.
The cottage is commended for being well-equipped, with a good selection of books and DVDs. However, several reviews mention the need for maintenance, such as overgrown courtyards, defective light bulbs, and issues with curtains and a downstairs WC. These maintenance issues suggest room for improvement.
While many reviews express gratitude towards the hosts and mention positive experiences, there is no specific mention of gifts or special thoughtful touches provided by the hosts. Therefore, it is not possible to accurately score the category of thoughtfulness based on the available reviews.

We had a short 3 day stay and the place provided exactly what we wanted to recharge our batteries. Anna lived next door and was on-hand to provide any assistance if required but allowed us our own privacy. The place was very clean and cozy and provided all amenities that we would expect. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would recommend it to anyone.
