Head to the village of Walsingham (5.5 miles) for a delightful steam train ride through wildflower meadows on the Wells and Walsingham Light Railway. Your trip ends at charming Wells-next-the-Sea (11.5 miles from Toftrees), with miles of golden sands, colourful beach huts and wonderful scenic walks along the North Norfolk Coast Path. Explore two magnificent stately homes, Houghton Hall with its sculpture park (8.5 miles), and Holkham Hall (14 miles) famed for its splendid beach.
