Set in the heart of Norfolk, this stylish retreat in Holt is perfectly placed for enjoying both the surrounding countryside as well as the sandy beaches of the North Norfolk coast. The property sleeps four guests and makes a stylish bolthole to escape to. After exploring the area, chat about your day in the south-facing garden.
From the front garden, enter the red-brick, mews-style cottage. Inside, the holiday home has a bright, open-plan layout with antique-style furniture and accessories and a fabulous collection of artwork adorning the walls. The lounge area is a lovely place to relax, with plump sofas to sink into and a Smart TV. From the hallway, an archway leads through to the inviting kitchen/diner where you can prepare delicious feasts using local ingredients and share memorable mealtimes together at the table by the window. When day turns to night, climb the stairs to find two king-size bedrooms with traditional beds, pretty furnishings, and calming decor. A family bathroom rounds off the accommodation. Outside, to the front of the property, an enclosed patio garden awaits. This sunny spot is the ideal place for al fresco dining, with a BBQ and a choice of outdoor furniture. The cottage has private parking for one car, and there are also public car parks nearby.
Holt offers a plethora of shops, boutiques, pubs, cafes, and restaurants. Step back in time with a ride on one of the vintage steam trains of the North Norfolk Railway, which chugs through countryside to charming seaside resort, Sheringham. Alternatively, get away from it all amongst the stunning landscape of Holt Country Park (1 mile). There are also some excellent attractions within easy reach, such as the National Trust’s Felbrigg Hall, just 9 miles from the cottage.
