We recently stayed at Jacob’s Folly in Norfolk for a glamping getaway, and it was exactly what we needed. From the moment we arrived, the setting felt peaceful and tucked away, with that perfect balance of countryside seclusion and thoughtful comfort.The accommodation itself was beautifully done—rustic enough to feel like a proper escape, but with all the little touches that make a stay relaxing rather than “roughing it.” The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the space was clean, cosy, and well laid out. It felt clear that a lot of care had gone into creating somewhere special rather than just functional.One of the standout features for us was the heated pool. It really elevated the whole experience—being able to relax in warm water while surrounded by the quiet countryside was such a treat. It added a bit of luxury you don’t always expect from a glamping stay, and we found ourselves making the most of it’s a family of 5.What really made the stay stand out, though, were the owners. They were incredibly friendly and welcoming from the start, and you could tell they genuinely care about their guests having a great experience. They added a really personal touch to the whole visit, which made it feel much more special and memorable than your average getaway.One of the highlights overall was simply slowing down. We absolutely loved our stay at Jacob's Folly. It's set in really peaceful and relaxing wood, and the hut is really comfy and cosy. The owners are such lovely people. And the heated pool is beautiful. We would definitely recommend.
