Overall tge cottage had everything we needed as a party of two plus a dog. Would be snug for 4 adults. The dog hamper was very nice along with the home made cake very kind. Although stated as very dog friendly. The dog was not allowed free rein of the cottage (upstairs prohibited) which was not mentioned on the info provided. We also had an escaped dog out of the garden at the back. Have noted where in the maintenance book. Overall a nice cottage and very quiet except for the fighter planes each morning. Good to watch but a bit loud. Probably worth noting if this is a regular occurance in case some people are concerned about peace and quiet. .

We recently stayed at the gig house for four nights with our two dogs. The garden was as advertised huge and very secure, high-quality stock fencing all the way around which meant our resident escapologist was foiled in her bids for freedom! When we stayed, it was during the heatwave and we did take a fan with us as there was no fan on site. The kitchen facilities were good, it is a small property but they managed to fit in a good sized fridge freezer and washing machine. Unfortunately, there was no ice cube tray to be found but some silicone cupcake cases served as an excellent substitute! The only downside I would say what’s the mobile signal and Wi-Fi, which had a very low signal strength. Perfect if you’re looking for a digital detox! The stairs were significantly steep as advertised. We will definitely go back again.

Excellent property ideal for a couple and a dog or two. Very large, safe garden for your dogs and so private and secluded. We loved our stay at The Gig House and it was the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Norfolk coast. Highly recommended!
