Once the stable block for the village’s ‘big house’, this characterful property has been thoughtfully transformed into a bright, airy retreat. The ground floor features an inviting open-plan living space ideal for unwinding after a day in the fresh sea air, while upstairs you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms - a super‑king and a twin, along with two bathrooms, including one en‑suite.
Well-equipped and wonderfully cosy, Sea Horse Stables makes an ideal base for small families who love being close to the coast, as well as couples or friends seeking a peaceful bolthole with plenty to explore nearby.
Scenic coastal and countryside walks begin right from the doorstep, and cyclists will appreciate the secure bike storage in the garden shed. Little ones and well-behaved dogs are warmly welcomed, and the handy outdoor rainfall shower is perfect for rinsing sandy toes and muddy paws after a day of adventure.

We just wanted to drop you a short thank you note for the wonderful week stay we had at your lovely holiday property in Overstrand, Norfolk. Your house is in such a lovely quite spot of town with very little through traffic, short walk to a well stocked supermarket, a beach Cafe, two hotels with bars and restaurants and of course the fantastic sandy beach, but still close enough to the hustle and bustle of Cromer.Your two bed house was perfect for my wife and I along with our two grandchildren having two really generous sized bedrooms and with two shower rooms. My wife loved the modern and fully stocked kitchen to enable her to feed the hungry brood. Also having a separate utility room with both a washer and dryer if needed. I loved the kitchen bar and the lovely dining table and seating area was perfect for the four of us and the friends who joined us for supper. We also loved the spacious seating area and access to the multi channel Sky TV system. The whole property has been well looked after and maintained with excellent décor throughoutThe outside seating area is certainly a suntrap, but has ample shade and with a lovely seating/dining area taking advantage of the lovely sunny weather that Overstrand and the wider Norfolk area always seem to offer. And with two dedicated ample parking spaces at the front of the house it was extremely convenient to offload and reload on our arrival and departure. The outside garden shower we thought was a very nice touch to allow us and our dog to wash off the 'sandy beach' and to cool down from the heatwave.There is no doubt that my wife and I will be back to enjoy your seahorse stables house.
