Reconnect with nature in this beautiful glamping yurt sitting in a complex of eight yurts on a wildflower meadow on the historic Raynham Estate. Sleeping five people across one super-king-size bed and three singles, it’s an excellent base for families or groups of friends yearning for outdoor adventures in Norfolk together. Spend a contented few hours discovering the grandeur at Houghton Hall (8 miles), an elegant Palladian mansion built in the 1720s. Wander the ornate state rooms and art exhibitions, and take a stroll through the sweeping, deer-dotted parklands. Spend a glorious day wandering along the vast golden sands of Holkham Beach (15 miles); or treat yourself to a glamorous day at Fakenham Racecourse (4 miles). Further afield, make your way to Morston Quay (19 miles) and hop on a boat to visit the seal colony at Blakeney Point.
Park in your private parking area (there’s room for two cars) and step inside your delightful glamping retreat. You’ll fall into the warm embrace of the charming living/sleeping area, where pale timber floors and rustic furnishings set a serene, grounded vibe. The circular layout is enhanced by a beautiful central skylight that draws natural daylight into the space. There’s a generous super-king-size bed and three singles. A glowing wood burner takes pride of place.
Step outside and you’ll find a private picnic bench where you can fire up the BBQ and host a fun al fresco dinner. Alternatively, there’s a shared kitchen/diner just a few steps away. After dinner, take a dip in your private wood-fired hot tub, and then gather everyone together at your private firepit to toast marshmallows under starry skies. Completing your glamping experience is a nearby shower block with a private shower and WC for your use.
