The cottage is 0.5 miles from Sheringham’s family-friendly beach, where you can paddle among the rock pools, hire a beach hut and stroll along the promenade. Explore the town’s cafes, tearooms, shops and museum, wander to the National Trust’s Sheringham Park, 1.5 miles, or play a round at the 18-hole golf club, 1 mile. Hop on the steam train and puff along to Holt, 7.5 miles, or take a boat trip from Morston Quay, 11 miles, to see the seals at Blakeney Point.
