The owner's even put up a Christmas Tree and decorations , which was very thoughtful and made it feel very Christmasy . The owners also provided Coffee , Tea , Biscuits and Milk for our arrival . The log burner made our stay feel very cosy. The roll top bath in the bedroom , gave the cottage a luxurious feel. The cottage was tastefully furnished and decorated and it made it feel like home. We would recommend staying at the Captains cottage for its location.

It was very clean, comfortable and tastefully decorated. Would definitely go again. This could easily be a 5 star property but some items mentioned in previous reviews need addressing. Most important the cooking utensils need replacing especially the rusty saucepans. Also fridge freezer door broken, only one half of the toaster working and the DAB radio doesn't work.
