The Old Gatehouse was simply delightful. Full of character with lots of room for the family of 6 plus a happy dog. There was plenty of equipment in the kitchen and the range was easy to work. Maybe a new fridge would make it perfect but we loved it all. The dining table was a good size for eating and board games. Sitting room very comfortable, both TVs worked well. Beds also very comfortable. Bathrooms great with powerful showers. Garden was a great place to play boules as well as to just sit and enjoy the sun. Walsingham Abbey and Museum was an interesting visit plus we went to Titchwell RSPB reserve, Brancaster beach, Holkham Hall and beach, Wells beach, Blakeney point to see seals (tip - take an early boat in case of any engineering probs leading to less time watching seals), Blickling Hall and walks around the village. Excellent farm shop and a village store plus a great gardener who put out plums, beans and stunning flowers for sale outside his house. Keep an eye on the tides esp at Brancaster - at Wells there is a loud warning system. Great holiday.
