Located just 13 minutes’ drive from the market town of Diss, which is plentiful with shops, cafés, and restaurants. The area is great for exploring the delights of Norfolk and Suffolk with its Heritage Coast, including Aldeburgh, Dunwich, Walberswick and Southwold are all within easy driving distance. Hire a boat on the famous Norfolk Broads or, for thrill seekers, head to the areas only theme park, Pleasurewood Hills, or enjoy Great Yarmouth’s golden mile and funfair. Historic market town of Bury St Edmunds, famous for its cathedral, Georgian theatre, abbey and gardens, museums and markets, and the historic city of Norwich which also has a cathedral and market plus a wide range of shops, restaurants, and galleries to delight you.
Nearby you will find nature reserves, Bressingham Gardens and Steam Park, Banham Zoo, National Trusts Ickworth House and Thetford Forest, where you will find extensive walks and cycle trails. If you want a day out at the seaside, both the Norfolk and Suffolk coastlines are within an hour’s drive. A beautiful well equipped bungalow with everything you could ask for. Spotlessly clean with extras you don’t normally find. lovely place and well equipped.The description ought to mention the nearby railway line as we almost didn't book when we researched the location.The line was not intrusive at all - just a whoosh as the electric trains on smooth tracks went through

Well this is our 4th visit to Highgrove so what more can I say, its a great cottage in a lovely peaceful location, plenty of wildlife to see wandering around the fields and garden. Diss is only a 10min drive away and has everything you would need, Norwich is only 30mins away and is a fantastic city to visit, there's also plenty of attractions nearby, nothing more than an hours drive,Highgrove its self has everything you will need and is very comfortable and the hot tub is perfect after a busy day exploring, Cheryl, one of the owners is lovely and on hand if you need anything.Looking forward to visit No5 :)
