Settle into the lounge at the end of the day, put your feet up and reflect on the day’s adventures, whether you’ve been exploring woodland trails or wandering historic towns. When night falls, the accommodation is laid out with comfort and flexibility in mind. The super-king-size bedroom offers a generous retreat, complete with its own en-suite shower room, while the king size bedroom is equally inviting and served by a separate family bathroom. The layout works well for couples, families or friends sharing, giving everyone their own space to unwind. Step outside and the garden really comes into its own. Open and expansive, it frames far-reaching countryside views and provides a lovely backdrop for morning coffee or evenings spent watching the light fade across the fields.

The hot tub adds a special touch, perfect for soaking beneath the stars, while off-road parking and an EV charging point make arriving and settling in easy. Four-legged companions are welcome too, with plenty of fresh air and countryside to enjoy. The surrounding area offers plenty to fill your days. Thetford Forest is a highlight, with miles of walking and cycling routes, wildlife-rich clearings and family-friendly adventure activities at High Lodge. History lovers will enjoy Thetford’s Ancient House Museum, while Bury St Edmunds invites exploration with its Abbey Gardens, Moyse’s Hall Museum and handsome streets lined with independent shops and eateries.

Norwich adds another layer of interest, from the grandeur of Norwich Cathedral and Castle to the characterful Lanes, known for their boutiques, cafés and thriving food scene. The village of Garboldisham is set in Norfolk, close to the border of Suffolk, meaning it is a wonderful base for discovering both counties. Garboldisham offers a well-stocked local village store and post office selling local produce, and also boasts a medieval church in the village. The Fox Inn is a community run pub which at present opens Friday - Sunday plus Bank.

Garboldisham is close to the popular market town of Diss in south Norfolk which boasts a 13th century church and wonderful, winding, narrow streets which house tucked away, little courtyards. There is also a high street where visitors can find a selection of tea rooms and small shops and there are many activities in the area to keep all visitors happy, including golf and scenic walks, offering picturesque opportunities to discover this lovely area.
