The Gardener's Cottage offers chic, contemporary and absolutely gorgeous accommodation for four on the Earsham Hall country estate on the Norfolk/Suffolk border. With its stunning, open-plan living space, plush bedrooms and deluxe bathrooms, this splendid retreat, only half an hour from Suffolk's Heritage Coast in the heart of the East Anglian countryside, is a gem.
All on one level, The Gardener's Cottage has been super-stylishly restored and offers high-end, luxury accommodation all year round. A well-equipped kitchen with all the mod-cons opens out into a light and airy dining room and sitting room, with glass doors to the enclosed, sunny courtyard garden. King-size beds in the bedrooms (one a zip-and-link, which can be separated to twin single beds on request); both with contemporary en-suites (the master has a bath, and bedroom two a large walk-in shower), vibrant furnishings and top quality bedding add to the opulent yet comfortable feel of the accommodation.
The Gardener's Cottage is in the ideal location to explore all that Norfolk and Suffolk have to offer. On the edge of the wonderful Waveney Valley, you are only a few minutes' drive away from paddle boarding and canoeing on the River Waveney and from the traditional unspoilt market town of Bungay, with its independent shops and delicious delis and cafes. Beccles, another lovely market town and gateway to the Norfolk Broads, is a short hop in the car and it's less than twenty miles to Southwold and Suffolk's other stunning sandy beaches and coastal towns and villages. Norfolk's main city, Norwich, full of medieval charm, is only fifteen miles away, and the outstanding North Norfolk coast can be reached in just over an hour.
The Gardener's Cottage is located in amongst a number of businesses using other converted buildings on the Estate. Whilst you will be in your own peaceful and private space, it can be busy with the general public visiting these surrounding businesses, and sometimes the workshops, which are open Monday to Friday, will make background noise going about their business.

Earsham Cottage is an idyllic retreat, tucked away in the grounds of Earsham Hall. Beautifully decorated and supremely comfortable inside, with a delightful courtyard garden. The resident peafowl are entertaining, if occasionally loud. They add to the charm of what is probably the nicest holiday cottage we have stayed in. A perfect base to explore the area. Too much to see in one week so we will be back. If you are interested in history, don’t miss The 100th Memorial close by at Thorpe Abbots. A very moving museum that defied all expectations. Last, but definitely not least, a special mention to Annabel. She has created this little slice of heaven and was kind and attentive during and after our visit. She went above and beyond and sent on some items we had carelessly left at the end of our stay. A genuinely lovely women. Thank you!

Beautiful cottage, very well equipped and fabulous decor. We really enjoyed our stay! And we had fun with the peacocks to visit the courtyard.
