In a great position for shops and our favourite pub after a nice walk. We shall definitely recommend and would love to return

Stanhope is great for walking and such lovely people. The cottage itself was very stylish and well equipped the only little niggle for me was it didn't have a smart TV which is a personal preference and for me on a rainy day would have been better. I would use this cottage again as it felt very homely and the welcome pack was second to none

I used the woodstove a lot, it warms up the place. . Mark is an excellent host, friendly, considerate, and helpful. A great place to unwind, work quietly, or explore the countryside. I did them all and loved it!
