The cottage itself is really nice. It was spacious with lots of hot water. Unfortunately, there were isues while we were there. The description stated that a welcome pack and wood for an initial fire for the log burner would be available - neither were. I wasnt bothered about the welcome pack but the option to have a fire would have been nice. There was also a problem with the shower draining and so when having a shower the bath quickly filled with hair and grime from the plug hole. I reported this but no one arrived while we were there to fix this. Lastly, we arrived at 6pm after a day hiking (cold and wet) and were looking forward to using the hot tub, however, it hadnt been left warm and so it was past our bedtime by the time it heated up. Considering the extra we paid for the hot tub, it would have been nice to have it available from the first night. Other places weve stayed have always left it ready for use.

the cupboards and parts of the house were dirty. no bare esentials not even washing up liquid and cloth. the garden was scruffy, hot tub was good. location beautiful, accommodation really nice. no WiFi working. certain cupboards full of clutter. great potential
