A lovely cottage in a beautiful location. Super cosy with a great log burner! Kept the place beautifully toasty. I have to say this place has the best hot hub with wonderful views over the countryside ( Highland cows included! 😁). The location is good for local walks and also short drives to other villages and Durham. Nice little pub on the doorstep. We only managed a drink because our dog won’t settle down enough for us to have a meal, but has a great reputation for great food. Can’t recommend this place enough!!! Definitely worth a visit! (Thanks to Catherine & Steve for their great hospitality!)
