Stayed for leisure. Good communication from owner and secure parking. Accommodation had everything for a long weekend - log burner warmed the accommodation with plenty of fuel provided for our 3 day stay. Hot tub a great addition to the property. Durham was 3 miles away - used an Uber for under £10. Had a mealIn the La Fattoria Italian restaurant a minute walk away - quality food and very reasonable. Overall a lovely place to stay and very peaceful.

Beautiful cottage in lovely surroundings. The log burner is a lovely focus point and the hot tub was brilliant. The owners have thought of everything and a bottle of prosecco on arrival was a lovely touch. The Italian restaurant up the road is a must and highly recommended. The only slight drawback for us was we felt test it would have benefitted from another source of heating, albeit it didn't hinder our holiday. The property does have heaters, but an addional one in the morning lounge, kitchen and dining area would help. However, we loved the cottage.

Just back from 4 nights at Bolton Farm. Great stay in a perfect location. The cottage had everything we needed and only 3 miles from Durham city centre. The log-burner and hot tub came in very handy for November! Easy communication with Andrew the host, and would definitely stay again.
