Guests say

Bramble Cottage receives high praise for its cleanliness, comfort, and stunning location. Guests appreciate the well-equipped facilities, comfortable beds, and the thoughtful touches from the friendly and helpful host, Jean. The peaceful setting with lovely views and proximity to local attractions like Durham and the coast adds to the charm. While personal preferences on mattresses were mentioned, the overall experience is highly recommended.

Guests consistently describe the cottage as 'spotlessly clean' and well-prepared, indicating a high standard of cleanliness that contributes positively to their stay.

The cottage's location is praised for being peaceful and secluded, yet conveniently close to Durham, the coast at Seaham, and local amenities, offering a perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility.

The comfort of the cottage is frequently highlighted, with special mentions of the comfortable beds and home comforts. One guest's preference for a different mattress type suggests comfort is subjective, but overall satisfaction is high.

Facilities are well-received, with guests appreciating the well-equipped cottage, outdoor furniture, and secure access. The lack of local info in the cottage is a minor point in an otherwise positive feedback.

The host's thoughtfulness is evident from the warm welcomes and helpfulness. A mention of a complimentary bottle of prosecco suggests a considerate touch, although such gifts should be seen as a delightful bonus rather than an expectation.
