Lovely property but in a sorry state to many things wrong that could so easily be put right. This is all my opinion by the way. Firstly I'd sack the cleaner not dirty but certainly needed to up the overall standard of cleanliness. Silly little things let it down like one of the tap heads missing in the kitchen! the stool in the front room which everytime it was moved the leg fell off! The toilet flush needing to be double pushed to stop water being wasted! Light in the bathroom with 3 bulbs only 1 working! Cooking facilities not great! The rear courtyard furniture seen better days and the area in general could have done with a good clean and tidy! One quite concerning issue was the front door not unlocking from the inside! The amount of damp considering the recent dry spell was also worrying! However it is a quaint old cottage it just needs to be brought back up to a reasonable standard. The area was lovely. The walks where good and the pub and pub grub was excellent.Left early as it just wasn't comfortable enough which is a shame because you can clearly see it's potential.

Pleasant cottage in an attractive village and about 50 yards from the local pub. The cottage and village have easy access to the main roads and are about four miles from the A1M so it is easy to get around. The cottage has parking outside the front door, which is a bonus. It's an 18th century and does have dampness in places but we understand this is being attended to. We are keen walkers and there are several attractive walks locally.
