A pleasant 0.5-mile walk will bring you to the lovely village of Gainford, while a quick drive opens up a world of history and culture. Don't miss the chance to explore the grand medieval halls of Raby Castle (6 miles) or marvel at the incredible art collection housed within the stunning French-style chateau of the Bowes Museum (8 miles).

Step inside and make yourself at home in an interior that’s been designed for comfort and relaxation. The open-plan living area is a wonderful, sociable space, made bright and airy by the large glass doors that offer those fantastic river views. You can get cosy on the comfortable sofas, perhaps settling down for a family movie night in front of the Smart TV and enjoying the crackle of the wood burner. When night falls, two inviting king-size bedrooms, which can be made into twins on request, promise a restful sleep; one features a private en-suite shower room, while a separate family shower room adds extra convenience.

Outside, you’ll find a fantastic space designed for enjoying the great outdoors. The enclosed decking area is the perfect spot to sit with a drink and simply soak up the tranquil atmosphere, complete with outdoor furniture for dining alfresco. For a touch of pure indulgence, your private hot tub is tucked away to the side, ready for you to sink in and relax under the stars. Parking is straightforward, with off-road space for two cars. With direct access to the riverside trail, you and your four-legged friend can head out for wonderful walks whenever the mood takes you.
