The house is very dated and in need of a complete make over. Paint peeling from ceilings and walls. The ceiling in one onsuite was particularly poor. Cleaning was not up to standard, thick dust on skirting boards and accumulated dirt on bannister hand rail, dirt around and behind toilets. The oven is old and dirty, had to clean the baking tray before use. The host was very friendly and helpful. I did not feel the property was up to the standard I expect when booking through Cottages.Com and I would not stay at the property again.

We had a brilliant few days here. June and her family are very friendly and helpful and the surrounding are very peaceful. Went out for were a 3 generation family ranging from 8 to 76 and the accommodation satisfied all our needs. It would have been helpful to have a dustpan and brush available as we did have a small breakage but we were easily able to get any extra things needed from June. We’d love to go again.
