The property's location is ideal for exploring the surrounding countryside and enjoying local amenities, including dog-friendly pubs and a nearby Co-op.
Cleanliness has received mixed feedback. While some guests found the cottage to be very clean and comfortable, others noted issues with dust, cobwebs, and a need for a deeper clean. The cleanliness appears to be generally satisfactory, but there is room for improvement.
The location of Grace Cottage is highly praised for its beautiful views and proximity to local amenities and scenic walks. The village's friendly atmosphere and accessibility to nearby attractions contribute to a positive experience.
Guests find the cottage cosy, warm, and well-decorated, with comfortable beds and a homely feel. Some minor issues with window handles and heating controls were mentioned, but overall, the comfort level is high.
Facilities are generally well-received, with a well-appointed kitchen and a welcome pack mentioned by some guests. However, there are comments about maintenance issues such as a leaking toilet and the need for better lighting outside. The presence of a log fire adds to the charm, although some guests experienced issues with the initial stock of wood.
The thoughtfulness of the hosts is evident in the provision of a welcome pack and the overall comfort of the cottage. Guests appreciate the amenities provided, though it is politely noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be guaranteed for every stay.
