My fourth time at the cottage. It has been newly tastefully decorated. Very comfortable with the courtyard giving a strong sense of security. Good position for exploring County Durham. Enjoyed the Shepherd and Shepherdess (Beamish) and the Oak tree (Tantobie).

Wow Wow Wow! Absolutely stunning cottage…..pictures don’t do it justice…..everything you can think of provided! Cosy and quirky…The whole place is a must see!Only downside for us was the mattress on the double bed was far to firm for us but that’s just preference…Easy to get to local attractions and amenities.

We were so impressed with the cottage, the photos didn't do it justice and it was decorated, which we didn't expect. We had a really lovely Christmas there and can totally understand why people would go back time and again as per other reviews!
