Single sex (all female or all male) group bookings that are outside of a couple or family dynamic are permitted however all guests need to be over 30 years old. We stayed in Willoughby Lodge which was fantastic, everything you need for a relaxing stay. Fabulous interior decor. The hot tub was large and looked out over open fields, but still felt private. We sat in the hot tub with a gin and tonic watching neighbouring fireworks across the fields (it was bonfire night when we were there). The owner Susan was lovely and very helpful regarding the local area. Good for access to Durham and the coast. Definitely one of the best lodges we have ever stayed in.
