Guests say

Guests consistently praise THE STABLES for its cleanliness, comfortable amenities, and serene farm setting. The property boasts a fully equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a welcoming atmosphere. Its location is ideal for exploring Yorkshire and enjoying local wildlife. The presence of farm animals adds charm without farmyard odours, and the nearby pub offers excellent food. Accessibility features like a shower chair and wheelchair ramp are appreciated, and the underfloor heating is a cosy touch. Overall, it's a highly recommended retreat for relaxation and outdoor activities.

Reviewers unanimously commend the property for its exceptional cleanliness, noting it as 'super clean' and 'pristine', indicating top marks for this category.

The location is highly praised for its peacefulness and proximity to local attractions and scenic spots, making it nearly perfect, with a slight deduction as not all reviewers commented on location.

Comfort is highlighted with mentions of 'comfy beds', 'home comforts', and ample space, suggesting guests find the property very comfortable.

Facilities are well-regarded, with a fully equipped kitchen, secure storage for bikes, and accessibility features. A slight deduction is made as not all reviews detailed the facilities.

The welcome pack and the provision of accessibility features reflect thoughtfulness. However, as gifts are not guaranteed, this is politely noted for future guests.

You won’t go wrong if you are looking for a peaceful, comfortable and well equipped holiday cottage. Phil the owner was there to greet us, and offer any assistance required. It is on a working farm, but don’t be put off by that, as it’s pristine and very well run. We had a really good week, thanks to the home comforts.
