If you’re looking for somewhere to eat, head to Spanish City where you’ll find a Renaissance-style hall transformed with a fish and chip restaurant, a traditional tearoom, a waffle and pancake houseand a champagne bar inside. Whitley Bay is just 10 miles from Newcastle and there are two Arriva bus routes which travel to the city centre. The 306 bus route has stops in Tynemouth, North Shields and Jesmond. The 51/51A has stops in Jesmond and Northumbria University.

There is a metro station located in Whitley Bay with regular routes to South Shields and Newcastle City Centre which can be reached within 25 minutes. The metro station is a 5-minute walk from 3 Queens Court. The closest mainline train station is Newcastle Central Station.
