Be welcomed into this first-floor apartment by a stylish sitting area with traditional curtains adding a sense of opulence and huge bay windows drawing in natural light, it is a room where you will simply love to curl up with a good book and a glass of your favourite beverage in on one of the three sofas. When mealtimes call, a contemporary kitchen houses many home-from-home amenities so that you can enjoy cooking together, serving your romantic meal for two at the dining area which can be found in the sitting room.
The king-size bedroom is elegant, with grey décor, a window seat and large bay windows, as well as both a handy en-suite and a bathroom for you to choose from. Alnwick is a fantastic town with loads on offer for guests, beginning with a bustling high-street housing independent shops and tasty eateries. The attractive and historic market town of Alnwick is dominated by Alnwick Castle, home to the Duke of Northumberland. The Castle Gardens, opened in 2002, are home to Europe's largest cascading water feature, a fabulous (and enormous) treehouse, a delightful rose garden and a beautiful, walled ornamental garden, which will delight novice and experienced gardeners alike. The castle is also famous as the setting for Hogwarts School featured in the Harry Potter films! The town's narrow streets have seen little change since the days when the London to Edinburgh stage coach passed through and the Market Place, with its stone cross, is still the central feature and the ideal venue for the weekly Saturday market. Alnwick offers a good selection of shops, pubs and places to eat and there is plenty to see and do, with miles of golden sandy beaches, numerous castles and boat trips to the famous Farne Islands all available nearby. Altogether a superb location for exploring Northumberland and its stunning Heritage Coastline.

Very clean with a well-equipped kitchen. Loads of places to eat and drink nearby. The arrival instructions and key arrangement were a little confusing - it takes 5 keys to get from the apartment to the car park and back. But we got used to it.

The decor and furnishings were lovely and we felt really comfortable, a real home from home. We had to call maintenance when we arrived, they were with us within half an hour and Mike sorted the problem immediately, very efficient. We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to our friends and family.

However has high steps to main entrance with two flights of stairs to apartment. Maybe more emphasis should be made when advertising for those with walking difficulties. Having said that a lovely apartment with lots of amenities close to hand.9
