Take your binoculars to Budle Bay (3.5 miles) to see the amazing bird life and head to Bamburgh (5 miles) to explore the magnificent Bamburgh Castle, the Grace Darling Museum, and to stroll along the wide, sandy beach. Take a boat trip to the Farne Islands from Seahouses fishing harbour and cross the causeway to explore the Holy Island of Lindisfarne (13 miles). These beautifully converted former stables on the outskirts of the village now provide an immaculate, well-equipped, single-storey holiday cottage that has been finished to an excellent standard and offers guests a truly comfortable stay. Enter the property via the boot/utility room, you can hang your outdoor clothing here and sit down to remove your walking boots. A glazed door leads from here to the patio garden. Relax on comfortable seating in front of the warming wood burner whilst watching a movie on the Smart TV or enjoy one of the books or games provided. There are also OS maps and guidebooks to help you plan your activities. If you like to eat in, the contemporary kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook up a delicious meal, and a generous dining table where you can enjoy sitting together for sociable mealtimes. The two well-appointed bedrooms are off the hallway, each with plenty of storage space. The king-size bedroom has a zip-and-link bed which can be made up as twins on request. There is a TV and solar-powered blinds at the skylight window. The double bedroom also has a TV and an en-suite shower room. A family shower room completes the accommodation.
