Take a scenic stroll along the River Tweed before enjoying a spot of lunch in one of the many eateries on offer or take a trip to nearby Duns to discover its award-winning butcher and delicatessen, alongside being an exciting hub for racing enthusiasts with its Jim Clark Museum and the Jim Clark Rally. Also, in easy reach of Bamburgh, a stunningly attractive small village set on the Northern stretch of the Northumberland Coast. It is without doubt dominated by its magnificently striking castle that can be seen for miles around, giving the whole village a somewhat dramatic feeling. You can’t fail to be impressed by the sheer scale of the castle once you are up close and in the village itself.
There is much to do in the village alongside the castle and its amazing history, there are impressive stretches of pure golden sandy beaches, many English tea rooms and restaurants, St. Aidan’s Church and a newly renovated museum dedicated to Grace Darling. Please note: The property has on street permit parking on a first come first served basis, the permit will be available for your use and left inside the property. Alternatively, there is a public car park 100 yards (across the road) a disc for this car park will also be left for your use inside the property.

Loved this house, great value for money! Nice suntrap outside and very quiet. Sadly only stayed 4 days of our weeks holiday owing to our dog having to go to emergency vet at home. We will be back!
