This semi-detached, single-storey cottage sits next to the owners’ home just 1 mile from a popular local pub. It is also just 9 miles from Bellingham which has a good choice of cafes and pubs. Relax in the garden and take in the views of the surrounding fields or enjoy cycling, walking, sailing and fishing at Kielder Water. Nearby Leaplish Waterside Park has a hop on/off ferry which takes you all around the water to admire the stunning scenery with a visitor centre, birds of prey centre and bar, with picnic tables along the front. Lilac Cottage is a good base for couples, friends or a small family who wish to explore this stunning county. The cosy multi-fuel burner in the inglenook fireplace ensures a relaxing evening after exploring the abundance of visitor attractions in what is reputedly the friendliest county in England.
