The perfect mix of old and new, the Old Post Office Cottage provides a cosy cottage on the edge of the Northumberland National Park. The log burner in the living area is the ideal for an evening in by the fire.
The Old Post Office Cottage is simply stunning - stylish, comfortable and beautifully presented. What’s more you have some of the best walking trails right on the doorstep in the Northumberland National Park. Accommodation is over two floors with the bedrooms and bathroom on the first floor and cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and kitchen/ dining room on the ground floor. Round off the day with a little relaxation and a barbeque in the garden… perfect!
If you can tear yourself away from this fabulous property, Northumberland is steeped in history with many imposing castles to explore including Alnwick Castle made famous by the Harry Potter movies and the striking Bamburgh Castle built high on a rocky outcrop. The quiet lanes are perfect for cyclists and walkers to soak up the stunning landscapes and perhaps catch a glimpse of the remarkable array of wildlife including red squirrels, roe deer, wild goats, otters and black grouse.
