Reviews are mixed regarding cleanliness. Some guests found the property clean and comfortable, while others reported a smell of dogs and a need for a deep clean. The presence of cobwebs and grime around windows suggests room for improvement.
The location is highly praised for its tranquillity and picturesque countryside. It is also appreciated for being well-situated for local visits, despite some guests suggesting better signage would be helpful.
Guests find the cottage comfortable and peaceful, contributing to a relaxing holiday. However, some guests mentioned issues with a soft mattress and lack of extra bedding, indicating that comfort could be enhanced.
The cottage is described as well-equipped and warm, with good WiFi. Nonetheless, there are several mentions of maintenance issues such as broken appliances and patio doors, which suggest that the facilities could be better maintained.
The welcome pack, including a bottle of Prosecco, is appreciated, reflecting the owners' thoughtfulness. However, it should be noted that such gifts are a kind gesture and may not be provided on every occasion.
