Cleanliness is repeatedly highlighted, with guests describing the cottage as spotless, immaculate, and extremely well maintained.

The rural, secluded location is highly praised for its tranquillity and views, though several guests mention the long, potholed access track as a minor drawback.

Facilities are described as excellent, with a well-equipped kitchen, modern amenities, and thoughtful touches such as information packs and electric car charging.

Many guests mention thoughtful touches from the hosts, such as a set table and wine on arrival, but please note that such gifts are not guaranteed with every stay.

Perfect accomodation, in a lovely setting, so nice to wake up to alpacas in the field adjacent to our back patio. Host's friendly, sociable and helpful, we would definitely recommend this cottage and would certainly return. 😁😁👍

Beautiful cottage set in a rural location. Had everything we needed for a perfect relaxing stay. Close by the Kielder reservoir and a few local pubs perfect place to get some fresh air and enjoy the outdoors. Lovely to sit outside and watch the alpacas with a glass of wine or a cup of tea on a morning! Thank you for a great stay!

David and Caroline have made a very cosy and comfortable cottage that is kept very clean and tidy. We have stayed there 2 years running and it’s lovely to see the alpacas in the field next to the cottage. There are a couple of pubs close by and a cafe in the village with lots of walks and the Kielder water just over a mile away with lots of activities.
