The property is only a short drive from many of Northumbria's attractions including Hadrian's Wall, the popular market town of Hexham and the Northumberland National Park. The cottage looked lovely and festive on arrival and had a cute Christmas tree and little bits of decorations everywhere. The cottage was clean and had absolutely everything you could need or want. Whilst the cottage is compact, with patience you can happily manage to make a delicious Christmas dinner with all the trimmings for five people and whack up a good buffet. Gordon was lovely and hospitable and made it was clear he was on hand if needed. We lead very full busy lives, so this was a fabulous way to unwind and spend our christmas break. We really hope to visit again soon. Thankyou Gordon
