Lovely area to stay located very well Nice bedrooms and bathrooms Kitchen functional, needs ventilation when cooking cant open windows because midges and moths will come in Musty smell in front room again cant open windows to let air in We knew about the small fridge and the 32 inch tv which is not enough for such a large room If these were resolved we would come back to this property as it is in a beutifull part of the country Ans having access to change the times of the heating would be nice even though the owner would come round and change it

The cottage is very spacious, warm, comfortable and well equipped with amazing views of the surrounding countryside. The wildlife garden is wild and beautiful. The cottage feels quite remote (in a good way) and yet it is only a few minutes stroll to the village - we enjoyed good food and beer at the Holly Bush Inn. Scenic drives to Hadrian's Wall and other attractions but also very good walking from the cottage door so no need to use the car unless you want to.
